Globant Introduces Agentic Protocol For Tourism

In January at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Globant introduced the world’s first 'Agentic Protocol for Tourism', a shared coordination layer intended to connect airlines, airports, hotels and governments to resolve traveller disruptions automatically. The protocol addresses industry-wide coordination failures and aims to move AI from pilots to infrastructure with a 12-month roadmap and two live use cases by 2027. The AI tourism market is projected to reach $14 billion by 2030.
Scoring Rationale
Industry-wide, officially announced protocol with concrete roadmap; limited technical novelty and unproven cross-industry adoption so far.
