Energy Fuels Acquires ASM For $299 Million

Energy Fuels Inc. dropped 8.51% on Monday after rallying near its 52-week high, closing at $23.33 per share. Last week the company acquired Australian Strategic Materials for $299 million to build an integrated rare-earths mine-to-metal and alloy production capability outside China, CEO Mark Chalmers said. The deal aims to support magnet applications across automotive, energy, robotics, and defense sectors.
