Employers Prioritize AI and Data Literacy Skills

DataCamp's 2026 State of Data & AI Literacy Report released March 3 finds nearly nine in ten leaders rate basic data literacy and writing as important or very important, and roughly half of more than 500 U.S. and U.K. business leaders report significant internal skills gaps. The report, echoed by ManpowerGroup and LinkedIn findings, highlights AI skills as the hardest-to-fill competency with training cycles lagging behind rapid skill change.
