EDB Releases WarehousePG Postgres Petabyte-Scale Warehouse

EDB on 2026-03-31 announced WarehousePG, an open-source, petabyte-scale data warehouse built on Postgres for analytics and in-database AI. The platform uses a massively parallel Postgres-based architecture, supports real-time ingestion, vector processing, and claims up to 58% lower total cost of ownership for migrations from proprietary warehouses. WarehousePG targets hybrid deployments and data sovereignty requirements while preserving SQL compatibility for existing teams.
