Author Matt Dinniman says in a Variety interview that the live-action Dungeon Crawler Carl series, announced in August 2024, remains in development with NBCUniversal and Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door, and writer Chris Yost has drafted several episodes. Dinniman says CGI testing, budget approvals and a pending streamer decision will determine whether the project proceeds to series.
