DuckDuckGo Launches Encrypted Voice AI Chat

DuckDuckGo has launched AI Voice Chat, a voice-enabled feature within its AI Chat product that encrypts conversations and strips identifying metadata before queries reach model providers. The Paoli-based company says it does not log or allow providers to train on user interactions and offers a paid Pro tier to remove limits. The feature supports multiple models including GPT-4o mini, Claude 3 Haiku, Llama 3.1, and Mixtral.
