Cursor Automations Expands Autonomous Engineering Workflows

Cursor on March 6, 2026 expanded Cursor Automations, its always-on agent platform, with a new generation of autonomous systems that streamline code review, incident response, and other engineering workflows. The platform now runs AI agents on schedules or in response to development events—merged GitHub pull requests, Linear issues, Slack messages, PagerDuty incidents, and custom webhooks—enabling engineering teams to automate background tasks and reduce manual toil.
