Country Joe McDonald Dies From Parkinson's

Joseph McDonald, lead singer and co-founder of 1960s psychedelic folk-rock band Country Joe and the Fish, died March 7 in Berkeley, California, at age 84 from complications of Parkinson's disease, his wife Kathy and the band said. McDonald is remembered for his solo Woodstock performance of the anti–Vietnam anthem "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag" and the provocative "Fish Cheer," which helped define 1960s protest music.
