About 100 people gathered on Monday evening in Auckland's Domain to hold a vigil for 15-year-old Sharon Maccanico, initially reported missing after last week's landslide at a Mt Maunganui holiday park. Pakuranga College confirmed Maccanico was among two of its students who died, including 15-year-old Max Furse-Kee. The Honorary Consul to Italy attended and the school said counselling and wellbeing support will be prioritised.
