ComfortDelGro Builds Next-Generation Choa Chu Kang Driving Centre

ComfortDelGro will build and operate a next-generation driving centre in Choa Chu Kang, replacing Bukit Batok Driving Centre by 2030, the company announced on Mar 11. The S$200 million, 30-year investment includes a S$38 million site lease and a 72,500 sq m multi-storey facility featuring sensors, cameras, real-time monitoring and AI-driven assessments to enable instructor-less training. Operations will start in phases.
Scoring Rationale
Official company announcement with AI-enabled training merits interest, but impact is local and lacks novel ML advances.
