Citigroup Forms AI Infrastructure Banking Team
Citigroup has assembled a team to help the bank win more advising and lending business for companies building data centers and AI compute infrastructure, Bloomberg reported Wednesday (Feb. 25). The bank estimates the industry’s build-out will require about $3 trillion of capital by 2030 and says the cross-functional team will leverage investment and corporate banking capabilities to provide that financing.
