Chandigarh University Launches CU AI Mission
Chandigarh University on Feb. 19, 2026 launched the CU AI Mission and hosted India’s first AI Fest 2026 aligned with the India AI Mission, aiming to train 150,000 youth and foster AI startups. The event drew over 1,000 national and international teams, involved more than 10,000 students from over 200 colleges, featured 35 competitions and prize money exceeding Rs 1 crore, and announced a Bose-Einstein Quantum Centre with QpiAI, QKrishi and CSIR-National Physical Laboratory.
