Canadian Tumour Bank Consolidates At KHSC

Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Feb. 2, 2026 became the new home for the Canadian Cancer Trials Group's Tumour Tissue Data Repository, consolidating nearly 30 years of patient-donated cancer samples previously stored across multiple locations. Co-located with Queen's Laboratory for Molecular Pathology and equipped with AI, genomics and image-analysis tools, the centralized repository aims to accelerate research into tumor evolution and support development of personalized treatments nationwide.
