Bureau Refers Fifty Harassment Cases To Tribunal

Fifty alleged sexual-harassment cases, mostly involving public-sector workers, have been referred to the tribunal established under the Sexual Harassment (Protection and Prevention) Act, Bureau of Gender Affairs principal director Sharon Robinson told the Caucus of Women Parliamentarians at Gordon House. Robinson said the tribunal, sworn in on July 13 last year, has resolved more than 60 percent of submissions, prompting caucus attention to trust, AI, and cybercrime issues.
