Bill Plaschke Discusses Living With Parkinson’s

Bill Plaschke, a longtime Los Angeles Times sports columnist, revealed last summer that he has Parkinson’s disease and in a recent interview described continuing to work while managing symptoms. He said he has reduced travel, uses exercise and physical therapy—boxing and stretching—to combat progression, and has used his platform to raise awareness, including writing about Kirk Gibson’s Parkinson’s Wellness Center.
