Azerbaijan Pursues Agricultural Diversification With UAE

Azerbaijan is accelerating efforts to diversify its economy toward agriculture through strengthened cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, officials said this year. Bilateral non-oil trade rose 43% to $2.4 billion last year, and more than 20 bilateral agreements were signed in the past two years; agriculture employs 36% of the workforce but contributes only 6% of GDP. The UAE will share precision farming, AI, and supply-chain technologies under a structured roadmap.
