AutORAN Automates xApp Development For O-RAN

Researchers present AutORAN, an LLM-driven framework (submitted March 19, 2026) that automates development of O-RAN xApps from natural-language intents. AutORAN assembles requirement elicitation, AI/ML design, validation, synthesis and deployment into a pipeline that produces deployable xApps within minutes. Evaluation shows AutORAN-generated xApps match or outperform hand-crafted baselines, significantly shortening development cycles and lowering barriers for operators and third-party developers.
