Arundhati Bhattacharya Urges Ethical AI Adoption in India

Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce South Asia, said at the India AI Summit 2026 on February 20 that AI adoption will not be a challenge in India and urged policymakers to ensure ethical deployment and data privacy protections. She called for democratizing technology, infrastructure interventions, and corporate-led skilling to enable citizens and nonprofits to access and evaluate AI responsibly.
