An AI-generated character called Amelia, adapted from a UK Home Office-funded counter-extremism game, has been transformed into far-right memes spreading internationally since early January. Analysis by Peryton Intelligence shows an anonymous account launched the trend on 9 January, driving posts from roughly 500 to about 10,000 daily by 15 January, and creators report emerging monetisation via an Amelia cryptocurrency.
