Advantest said on Sunday it detected unusual activity and is responding to a ransomware incident that has impacted several company systems. The Tokyo-based semiconductor test equipment supplier, which reported more than $6.4 billion in last fiscal year sales, said it isolated affected systems and engaged cybersecurity experts while investigating.
