Accused Son Attends Parents' Cremation Under Escort

In Bengaluru on Saturday, police escorted Rohan Chandra Bhat, the prime accused in the alleged murders of Capt Naveen Chandra Bhat and Dr Shyamala Bhat, to the Wilson Garden crematorium after a special court granted permission. Rohan, under treatment at Nimhans, performed a brief arathi and prayers under tight security, spending under five minutes at the funeral attended by his sister Rashmi and close relatives.
