Rules governing any announced News Games prize period. Last updated: July 31, 2026
Current prize status
No prize period and prize have been configured and published. Current play can appear in ordinary standings, but it carries no prize eligibility.
Sign in with a free verified account and complete each day’s games. During an announced period, only your first attempt can count, and it must remain eligible and clean.
During a published period, ranking uses active days, eligible completions, perfect games, then score. Speed never ranks you.
After an announced period closes, we freeze the board and review the leaders for fair play before anything is awarded.
No prize is currently offered. Dates and a prize must be published here before a period begins.
The summary above is for convenience. The numbered rules below are the official terms of the Program.
The News Games Monthly Prize rules (the "Program") are operated by AIDriven Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Sponsor," "we," "us"), New Delhi, India, operator of the Let's Data Science platform at https://letsdatascience.com. The Program is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any third party whose products may be offered as prize options.
Play our free daily AI news games with a free, verified account: the Daily AI News Quiz, Daily AI Word, Daily AI Mini, and the Monday Weekly Crossword. Each calendar month with an announced prize, the top-ranked eligible player on the monthly leaderboard wins it.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not improve your chances. Playing as a guest is free but does not enter you into the Program. Only signed-in play with a verified account can count.
To be prize-eligible, at the time of each counted play and at winner review you must:
Each Program period is one calendar month, measured in the America/New_York (US Eastern) timezone. The Sponsor announces each prize period and its prize on this page before that period begins. If no prize has been announced for a period on this page, no prize is offered for it, and play during that period carries no prize eligibility.
Current status: no period or prize is currently announced, so no current play is prize-eligible.
There is no separate entry step. During an announced period, while signed in to an eligible account, your first attempt is the only attempt that can count for each quality-certified stored edition of each game, and it counts only if it remains eligible and clean. The following never count: practice editions (clearly labeled), uncertified stored editions, later attempts or replays after your first attempt, attempts using any hint, attempts started as a guest, and attempts flagged by our integrity systems. All gameplay is scored on our servers. Nothing your browser reports about score or time is trusted.
The monthly leaderboard ranks eligible players by, in order:
Solve speed is never used to rank or to break ties. The leaderboard shown during the month is provisional. Standings become final only after the post-month review described below.
Exact ties: if two or more players remain exactly tied after all four criteria, the prize value is divided equally among them. If a prize cannot be divided, each tied winner receives a prize of equal divided value.
After the period closes, the Sponsor freezes an immutable snapshot of the leaderboard and manually reviews the leading candidates, including play patterns, timing, device and network signals, and integrity flags, before any prize is awarded. Nothing is ever paid from the live leaderboard.
Each monthly winner is decided in the following month, within one week after the period closes, after this careful review. The Sponsor approves or disqualifies each reviewed candidate with a recorded reason, and the highest-ranked approved candidate (or exactly tied candidates) wins.
These are skill games for humans. The following are disqualifying, at any time during or after the period, based on the Sponsor's review of behavioral and technical evidence:
Because assisted play cannot always be proven with certainty, disqualification decisions are made in good faith on the balance of evidence, are recorded with reasons, and are final. Reading the news, being knowledgeable, and playing quickly are never, by themselves, grounds for disqualification.
The form and value of each prize are stated in the period announcement on this page. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees applicable in their jurisdiction. The Sponsor may require winners to confirm identity, age, and eligibility, and to complete any legally required tax documentation, before payment.
There is no current prize amount, form, or announcement. Nothing on this page should be read as offering one.
Winners are notified at their account email once the review completes and must respond within 7 days, completing any required confirmation within 14 days of notification. If a winner does not respond, declines, or is found ineligible, the prize passes to the next highest-ranked approved candidate, or may go unawarded if none exists.
Prize integrity relies on pseudonymous technical signals, such as hashed device, network, and browser identifiers and play-timing patterns, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish personal information of participants beyond the leaderboard display name and aggregate play statistics. Winners' display names may be announced on the site. Anything more requires the winner's consent.
The Sponsor may modify these Rules prospectively, never retroactively for an in-progress period except where required by law or to correct a manifest error. The Sponsor may suspend or cancel a period if fraud, technical failure, or any cause beyond its control compromises the Program's integrity. In that case the Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the prize based on the standings review completed before the problem arose. The Program is provided "as is". Daily editions may occasionally be unavailable, in which case that day offers a clearly labeled practice edition that does not count toward rankings for anyone, equally.
These Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Rules or the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
