Anthropic Debuts Claude Mythos For Cybersecurity

Anthropic on April 7, 2026 launched Project Glasswing, offering select partners including Nvidia, Google, AWS, Apple, Microsoft, and others private access to Claude Mythos Preview, a general-purpose model used to autonomously flag and exploit system vulnerabilities. The company says Mythos identified thousands of high-severity flaws across major OSes and browsers, is restricted for security, and Anthropic committed up to $100 million in usage credits plus $4 million in donations.
Scoring Rationale
This is a major, timely product launch: an LLM that autonomously finds high-severity vulnerabilities and is being deployed with top infrastructure partners and government briefings. High novelty, industry-wide scope, strong relevance and official company credibility push the score up; limited public technical detail tempers it slightly.
